Residents and visitors to the Jindee estate’s land sales office opening on Saturday and Sunday 4 – 5 August will not only learn more about the estate but will be able to watch a unique live artwork come to life and contribute to it themselves.

Award winning Noongar artist Bradley Kickett is creating a live painting of the Jindee coast and land in Jindalee based on his aerial photography of the site, painting from the new sales office on site.

Fiona Roche, Executive Chair of Estates Development Company (EDC) developer of the Jindee estate said that the artwork has been commissioned to celebrate an important milestone for the estate and is an opportunity for community members to be a part of a piece of history.

“We are excited to invite people to join us as we open the doors to our new sales office – a significant moment as the Jindee vision really begins taking shape on site,” Ms Roche said.

“The state of the art design of our new sales office reflects this broader vision for Jindee, integrating seamlessly with the natural environment – the two-storey structure has an inner glass structure overlaid by a timber-clad exterior and features a large roof terrace.”

“Bradley’s style of painting is perfect to capture Jindee as he celebrates the ocean and natural landforms in his art, which also reflects the Jindee vision.”

Bradley said that, through all of his art pieces, he sets out to capture the flow and shapes of the earth as seen in an aerial view.

“The painting is inspired by the natural coastline and dunes at Jindee as seen from the air and the process for this art piece allows visitors to add their mark on the canvas,” Bradley said.

The Jindee estate and sales office is located on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Oceania Avenue, Jindalee, featuring floor to ceiling glass to showcase 180 degree views of the oceanside estate.

Following its use as a lands sales office, the building will be relocated to the coast in the future and repurposed to as a community facility.
