A Striking Welcome
Elevated from the street, this home grabs your attention instantly. A wide verandah with a raked ceiling creates a sense of arrival and grandeur. And at the entry, a bold yellow front door adds a cheerful burst of personality — a perfect introduction to what lies beyond. “We love the pop of colour as you enter the home — just a little bit of sunshine to brighten the mood.” – Tracey Step inside and you’re greeted by soaring 34-course ceilings, creating a volume of space that instantly lifts you. The entire home fills with natural light, air, and a sense of openness that feels luxurious. At the Heart: A Kitchen Made for Living
The heart of this home is undoubtedly the kitchen. Anchored by a huge oversized island bench, it’s designed as much for entertaining as it is for day-to-day life. A mix of cabinet textures, profiles, and thoughtful colour selections give the space visual depth and character. “Mick poured over the plans for the kitchen. He has an amazing eye for detail and can really envision how we would use the space. All of the clever design features are thanks to Mick.” – Tracey From layout to lighting, the kitchen is a masterclass in form and function.
And at the Soul: The Alfresco Retreat
If the kitchen is the heart, the alfresco is most certainly the soul.
Crafted by Peter from @peterschofieldhomes, the alfresco is a true work of art. The architectural pergola, with its symmetrical open-frame design, casts elegant shadows throughout the day. Meticulously laid stonework adds earthy texture and timelessness.
“We had to have Peter complete the works for our pergola and alfresco — even if it meant waiting for him. His work is impeccable and we absolutely love the end result.” –Mick and Tracey
“This was the last space to be finished and we are looking forward to inviting around all of our friends, family and Jindee neighbours to enjoy our finished home. We are so pleased with the end result.”
The Master Suite: A Private Sanctuary
Tucked at the rear of the home, the master suite is nothing short of palatial. This is a retreat in every sense — generous in space and rich in comfort. It features its own sitting area, soothing tones, clever lighting, and a stunning open-plan ensuite with a freestanding bath and refined finishes throughout.
“We wanted this space to truly be our sanctuary — and the connection to the alfresco was so important. The whole house just flows around this space.” – Tracey
“The feature lighting was also incredibly important to us. We love the way that the light creates almost an artwork with the shadows they cast, and it looks different at every time of day.” – Tracey
Mick and Tracey’s new home is a celebration of what makes Jindee so unique: architectural integrity, a deep connection to outdoor living, and a layout that simply feels right. It’s a home designed not just for now, but for life — full of laughter, light, and unforgettable moments.
