You can walk or cycle to work in the Jindee Urban Centre, or connect to work further afield using the Butler Train Station, which is only 800m away.
Safer Streets
Jindee streets are designed to slow traffic so they can be shared by pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. The layout of streets connecting to paths, connecting to community spaces, encourages you to walk to the beach, to the shops, take an evening stroll or morning exercise.
Many Jindee home sites have been designed with rear garages accessed by laneways to avoid dangerous driveway crossovers along the front streets, so pedestrians and cyclists can move more freely and safely. Parents can feel more relaxed that their children can use scooters, bikes and skateboards on the streets.
Rear laneways have been reinvented at Jindee with landscaping and more space than those in typical estates. Cars and garages are tucked out of sight. This allows verandahs along the full width of the house to overlook the street and living areas, with doors and windows opening onto these verandahs.
