After more than a decade of planning, Jindee on Perth’s north coast is making waves – with the launch of its first display home and second land release.
The oceanside estate in Jindalee is a conscious step away from the typical subdivision model, with a specific focus on fostering community – and buyers have responded.
“Jindee has been very well received to date by discerning buyers who appreciate the unique vision and thoughtful urban planning,” says Simon Cain, sales and commercial development manager at Estate Development Company.
“We have had buyers who are searching for a friendly coastal neighbourhood, which is focused on making great places for people to live, and not just selling land.
“The entire design of Jindee is a response to the coastal nature of the site. Uniquely, we have two ridges of sand dunes that run perpendicular to the coastline and form a natural amphitheatre – this means our whole estate is focused towards the ocean,” he says.
While Jindee has mostly attracted second and third home buyers, and people downsizing from larger homes along the coast, Cain says it caters to a spectrum of property journeys.
“We will create areas for people in all stages of living, from single people living in small apartment homes, through to large multi-generational family homes, and even places for people to live during their retirement.
“We are creating interesting tree-lined streets and attractive shaded walkways down to the beach. There will be opportunities to meet neighbours and enjoy the different amenities that will be built, including our coastal village close to the foreshore.”
Jindee recently announced its second release of 15 lots, ranging in size from 300 to 420sqm, starting from $260,000. There are also small number of lots remaining from the first release, some up to 797sqm with ocean views.
Its display home, The Portside by WA Building Company, is now open for viewings.
