The Beauty of Rear Garages
Beautiful Homes, Stunning ViewsWhen you’re designing a home in a stunning location, you want to make the most of the views. So Jindee homes are designed to let you sit back and enjoy the scenery. Relax on your verandah, let more rooms have a view and enjoy your surrounds. Not only will you enjoy your view, but everyone else will enjoy your neighbourhood view too. Removing the garage gives you so much more flexibility to beautify the front of your home and create a look that makes you proud.
They’re Safe
The concept is simple really. The streets are designed to slow traffic, encouraging people to get out and walk. Many streets in Jindee have been designed with rear garages to avoid dangerous driveway crossovers. This allows pedestrians, cyclists and parents to feel more comfortable and enable kids to scoot, ride, skate and play more safely. Rear laneways have been reinvented at Jindee with landscaping and more space than many other estates.
A Neighbourly Feel
With cars and garages tucked out of sight, welcoming streetscapes invite people to get out and be part of their neighbourhood. Wave at your neighbours, have a quick chat or just relax in your hammock as the world passes by. You’ll be surprised how such a simple change can create that ideal community feel.
Multi-Car Garages
Got 3 or 4 cars? No problem. You can use the entire width of your lot to include a 3 or 4 car wide garage at the rear. This avoids those big garage doors dominating the front of your home, or too many cars cluttering up the street. So sit back on your beautiful verandah and enjoy the tree lined streets and our friendly neighbourhood feel. Your cars and their belongings are safe and hidden in the back.
Bigger Homes
It’s surprising how much space we waste with driveways. Ask yourself, do you really need it? Imagine what else you could do with that space. You could make your home bigger – create that extra outdoor entertaining area or have bigger rooms or even more rooms. Or you could use it for a vegie patch or more play area for the kids. It makes a lot of sense to think outside the box.
Surprisingly Practical
It’s funny how we make assumptions just because we’re used to things a certain way. If you do need a driveway, you can still have a driveway with a rear garage if you need one. Trailers & boats are so much better at the back of your home, where they are kept safe and out of the way. And it’s much quieter to work in a garage at the back without being an annoyance to others. Don’t tell anyone, but it’s probably a great spot for a man cave as well!
